We are collecting donations for the western part of the State devastated by Hurricane Helene - drop off donations at the shop.


The devastation of Hurricane Helene last Friday, left much of the North Carolina mountains cut off from electricity, food, supplies, clean water, and many inhabitants homeless and grieving. With our neighbors to our west feeling so many struggles and losses, we are asking the American Brewmaster community to come together and donate to meet the needs of those isolated in these mountain communities. We will take items to my son's school in Wake Forest, where the donated items will be loaded on a 26 ft trailer. staff member Trey White, a native of McDowell County, outside of Asheville, along with his brother and other family members have partnered with Duke University (http://reliefefforts.duke.edu/) to help bring supplies to communities that are in need. To help with these efforts, you can bring items to be donated to those facing the aftermath of this disaster by bringing items to the American Brewmaster. We will load them on our pickup truck and drop them off at the school. These items will be packed and transported in a 26 ft trailer ready to go to the mountains on Fridays, with additional trips occurring as fast as we can collect supplies and fill the trailer. So far 3 loads have been donated and put into the hands of those that need it most, including 10 pallets of water, food, diapers, and formula.

  • Powdered Hydration Packets

  • Benadryl 

  • Epipens

  • Baby Wipes

  • Adult and Baby Diapers

  • Baby Formula

  • Bug Spray

  • Sunscreen

  • Plastic Utensils

  • Manual Can openers

  • Trash Bags (13 Gallon or Contractor Bags)

  • Non-Perishable Foods

  • Cleaning Supplies

  • Plastic Sheeting/Tarps

  • Toothbrushes

  • Toothpaste

  • Toiletries/Sanitary Items

  • Pet Food (Dog and Cat)

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Feminine Hygiene Products

  • Heavy Duty Work Gloves

  • Socks- All Sizes (Unopened

  • Underwear (New)

  • Clothing
    Bring any donations during business hours, and we'll make sure they are loaded up and taken to the mountains. Thank you!
