Hungarian Oak Cubes, 3 oz
Medium Toast. For post-fermentation use. Easily added & removed from carboys. Usage 3 oz per 5-6 gallon batch for 20-30 days. (recommend 2 to 6 months)
Use on full bodied wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Malbec, etc.
Imparts a rich, toasted character with perceivable vanillan flavors.
Adds "new" toasted, barrel aged flavor.
Cubes are 3/8" cubes and are also known oak beans.
Add to secondary carboy while ageing your wine to impart round, toasted flavors, improve stability and aid in "fullness" of your wine.
Use 2 to 3 ounces per 5 - 6 gallon batch and age for 3 to 6 months for best flavor extraction and complexity.
