in smaller amounts it will add a pleasant Smoky aroma and flavor, but don't overdo it! if used in excess it will give off a medicinal Band-Aid character. 

also used in the production of lowland scotch this is where Scotch gets its Smoky flavor.

Lovibond 2-3 Usage up to 100 %, but be careful.
Typical Usage - up to 5%

flavor -dry, heavy intense smoke
